Can't believe its Friday already! For this outfit I decided to just throw on some layers consisting of different prints. I also cannot get enough of these heels c/o of MyHotShoes. They received quite a few compliments when I was in Chicago. Think I'll always be a sucker for heels that have ankle straps and bows. Very excited to be having a laid back weekend this week. Here is a little something special I'd like to share with you guys. My boyfriend introduced Thai Indie to me last week and I can't help but think how beautiful the language is even though we both don't understand a thing of Thai. Enjoy!

Going The Distance: Chicago Again

Maintaining a long distance relationship can be hard, but one of the best things about it is getting a mini vacation whenever you do get to see each other. This weekend was just that.  From visiting the Zoo and taking pictures off a pier near the Shedd Aquarium, to doing loads of shopping and some extreme trampolining. I had a great four day weekend in Chicago. Not to mention the different food places we indulged ourselves at. These are just some of the goodies that we had consumed. The steak at The Signature Room on top of the John Hancock building was amazing and the view was mind blowing. Hope everyone had a great weekend as well!

Tonight We Are Young

After feeling under the weather for the first half of the weekend, some gal friends and I decided to have Sunday tea together. We love the usual spot that we go to because once you walk in, its like you magically turn into a 4 year old again. Its everything you used to imagine a tea party to be. These childhood memories inspired this outfit for me, cause I was rocking these big bows since I had hair. Color Blockage

Nothing makes me feel more feminine than being in a hip hugging skirt and a pair of pumps. Decided to play off the pop of pink from these amazing color blocking heels c/o of MyHotShoes. Easter Weekend at the Arboretum

This Easter weekend my friend and I decided to stop by a local boba joint and visit The Arboretum for some Easter festivities. However, upon arrival we realized that the activities were aimed towards little kids, so we just walked around the park and I got to snap some pretty awesome pictures. Its always nice to be a little more outdoorsy. I also had some pretty close encounters with quite a few peacocks. HAPPY EASTER!

Never Let You Go

Had a very relaxed weekend staying in and catching up on much needed sleep. Spent Sunday morning watching videos on the inter-webs with a friend and listened to Kenny G tracks throughout the day. Love the SAX! With this outfit, I had a little fun layering on different patterns and textures. Leather over chiffon, chiffon over cotton. These Steve Maddens Dynamites were also on my "want" list for the longest time after mintgreensubmarine acquired them. They looked perfect on her in all her pictures! So, when they went on sale for %30 off I had to snag them even though I had originally wanted the taupe ones ( which were sold out). Happy Tuesday!
