Grown Up Christmas List

As I dove into creating my wish list this year I realized that as I've grown older my list has gotten less comprehensive and consists of items that I've actually been eyeing/loving for a while. But hey, thats what being a girl in her twenties is all about right? Definitely thinking of snagging some of these things for myself as a self given Christmas present. Can't get enough of those Julep Nail polishes and creamy Lipsticks from Marc Jacob. Also, a few monochromatic items to fit my current wardrobe.

Pleather

I've been basically peeled to fitted knits and statement necklaces for the past few weeks. Am I the only one thats super excited that fall is finally here?! This is basically my go to combo with leather details as a "must-have". If you guys are looking for a comfortable casual boot for the fall season, these babies from BCBG are also the perfect height without putting too much pressure on your feet. This Phillip Lim collab with Target bag has also been my go to bag for work. With the craze in LA everything was basically sold out but the boyf was able to snag me one from the suburbs of Chicago. #WIN. Love you guys!

Hi lovelies! This post features one of my very best friends! As you could see we had a lot of fun as I dragged her into a few pictures. Her style is definitely laid back casual chic. Decided to pair this infamous Zara skirt with this structured vest, playing off the symmetry and angles. These ombre heels from Call It Spring were also a steal. For those of you who don't know, Call It Spring is a branch off of Aldo. They pose a close resemblance to the Jeffrey Campbells Soiree Heels that were oh so popular last year for a fraction of the price. Hope you guys enjoyed this outfit post!

Sorry for the August Hiatus! Need I say, work has been pretty busy but I'll definitely get back into the blogging grind! Hope everyone enjoyed their Labor Day weekend. Mine consisted of visiting the Los Angeles County Museum of Art along with food adventures and major food coma. I've also snagged these green harem pants from Zara when they had their sale. I've officially joined the blondies club! It's definitely the first time I've gone this light, but I've got to say that I do love it. Short hair is also more "ME". As you can tell, its caused me to wear more monochromatic outfits. Black, on black, on black. There is basically every texture possible in this outfit. Summer is definitely all about freeing yourself from reality on the weekends. Whether its having a relaxing brunch with some friends or attending music festivals, the toasty weather makes everything just "do-able". Wore a similar outfit like this to EDC last weekend which was held in Las Vegas. In the 100+ degree weather a crochet top and shorts was the only reason I survived. I've always been an advocate of tea, but as of lately an iced coffee really seems to hit the spot. Stopped by a coffee shop with the best name I've ever heard of for a coffee joint with my gal friend. Their iced latte was superb! This lunch bag cross body and these Marc by Marc Jacobs sunnies have also been a staple in my wardrobe for the past two weeks. Everyone also knows that I am a sucker for heels with ankle straps. I've had these sandals (courtesy of MyHotShoes) in coral and could not resist acquiring another in a darker tone.  Also, has anyone heard the new daft punk song "Get Lucky"? Sunny afternoons call for lunch outdoors at local caffes with perfect green tea lattes. There seem to be quite a few of these days living in California. A gal friend and I decided to grab a late lunch while I devoured an Orea Cheesecake (quickly might I add!). Snapping these pictures with the city scape peeping from afar was a plus. Flannels used to be worn with sneakers, but throwing them on with a pair of heels these days tend to be a desired trend for me. Hope everyone had a great weekend!

Spring, This Feeling

These prints say it all. Definitely happy that Spring is in full force and that everytime I step outside the sight is absolutely gorgeous with flowers in full bloom. This light weight cardigan provides the perfect amount of cover up with just the right amount of airiness. Although floral prints for the spring is basically a default for everyone, who can help it?
