Crystal Cove : Local Paradise

When stumbling upon this fun tank top, what is there not to like? Its got a crocodile on it with an open back! I've definitely learned to love dressing more age appropriate and I've grown to love heels, but street style is definitely my roots. I was also gifted this bunny beanie a while back from a wonderful coworker as a souvenir from Taiwan. Sported this comfortable outfit while going to a japanese cooking class with my friend mintgreen! Welcome back from KOREA! Afterwards we wondered around the streets of little tokyo and snapped these photos. Excited to be blogging more with her back!

Neutral and Stripes

So glad shorts weather has arrived in California already. I'm usually not a big fan of horizontal stripes because they do tend to make you look a bit more wide. However, I've established through this outfit that when paired with a solid color outer layer the stripes are perfectly fine! I decided to pair it with a bunch of earthy colors and these wedges courtesy of MyHotShoes added the extra omph! The boyfriend visited this weekend and here are just a few photos that I snapped on a few of our mini dates. We had actually gone to Newport Coast for the day, but I'll definitely share those pictures in my next post!

Another Year Older

I can't believe I'm going to be another year older in about a week. Cue the birthday wishlist! The Givenchy card holder is so simple and chic ( items that have really been catching my eye lately). Ever since I bought my boyfriend his automatic watch I've been scoping for a more feminine style to call my own. This Kenneth Cole one with its pink accents was exactly what I was looking for. Not to mention these JC heels that have been unfortunately sould old everywhere. I've also developed a strange infactuation with peplum tops lately so this one from Motel really hits the spot. The Stila Liner is my holy grale. Its also never too early to start using eye cream and I've heard some pretty good reviews for this Kiehls one. Lastly, candles of my favorite scents from Bath and Body.

Happy Presidents Day! As of lately I've found myself straying away from the bolder prints and heading towards the more basic pieces that could be thrown on with just good old jeans or paired with some leather leggings if I'm feeling on the edgier side. This oversized top from Zara is one of those pieces! Paired it with my new Zara kitten heels which I fell in love with the moment I saw them. 

Since I didn't have work, I decided to have a little sister bonding time shopping and paying a visit to one of our favorite tea places. Did I mention we went to see Warm Bodies? I'm hoping my sister and I aren't the only ones who loved it! How was your extended weekend?

Double Crossed

Can a girl have too many crosses and studs in an outfit? Perhaps not! Love pairing this cross jumper with my cross button up underneath. I've also been wearing the crap out of this Marc by Marc Jacobs watch that I received as a gift from le boy. Not to mention these awesome studded detailed wedges courtesy of MyHotShoes! Sorry for the lack of outfit posts! But I am so glad to be back! Loving this loose patriotic tee paired with these gorgeous wedges courtesy of MyHotShoes. I've caught myself wearing beanies more often due to the drop in temperature here in California. I'll be going to Florida next week with the boy, can't wait to share the pictures with you all!
