Killing Me Softly

Who doesn't love a good old Lauren Hill classic? Other than that, the California heat HAS been slowly killing me. Thanks to this awesome rockin` skulls tank courtesy of 2020Ave I was able to keep cool this weekend. Loving the asymmetric cut of it cause I love all things asymmetrical. Gives everything character!  These MyHotShoes wedges are also darling!

Basic Ombre

A perk of being in Southern California is the endless sun, and oh yeah, Disneyland. As to why I decided to wear a 3/4 sleeve in 100 degree weather I must admit, kind of a mistake! However, its always nice to effortlessly throw on an ombre top + shorts and not look like I'm prepping for an ultra lazy Sunday. My trip to the theme park was lovely as Ellen from Mintgreensubmarine came back for a week to visit El Lay. These heels from Zara are also my new favorite pair of work heels. It was a happy weekend, how could you not be happy at DISNEYLAND RIGHT?

Let Me Be Your Muse

After a long day of work, a few friends and I were able to catch up over dinner and tea with my fellow blogger buddy who was visiting home from Korea! This amazing dress courtesy of Sugarlips was perfect for both occasions. Sophisticated enough for work and casual enough for a laid back meal. I can also say that no other dress has fit me quite as perfect as this one. Its V-neck line drapes perfectly across without showing too much, not to mention providing a flowing breeze from our hundred degree weather! Hope everyone had an amazing weekend!

Living While We're Young

Although the first day of Fall has begun, we haven't been able to ditch the summer sun here in LA. I have my fall jackets all set and ready to go, but shorts and light tees are still my current staples to keep myself cool. I've also been sporting a more rugged look outside of work. Denim

(Denim Top - Forever 21 | Shorts - Vintage Levis | Watch - Michael Kors | Studded Flats c/o MyHotShoes) At first the idea of denim over denim sounded a little crazy, but the tribal tank throws off the uniformity of the blue hues and makes a denim top and shorts completely wearable. Since it was labor day, I've been on the relaxation grind. Making my go to pieces the casual items in my closet. I was also able to retire my beloved heels this weekend and traded them in for these awesome studded loafers courtesy of MyHotShoes. How was your labor day?

Been hooked to Ellie Goulding's rendition of the Weeknd's "High For This"! Other than that, how awesome is this feline dress? The mesh trail, sold! Perfect as a slip to wear around the pool or tied up in a knot for a more casual look. I'm always on the lookout for something unique!
